Skogar guesthouse is a friendly family owned guesthouse run by people who live in Skogar and know the area like the back of their hand.
We like to keep a relaxed homely mood so you feel like at home.
Our guesthouse is situated at Skogar in South Iceland and 10 minutes walk from the world famous Skogarfoss waterfall under the east Eyjafjöll Mountains.
The house is the old headmasters house of Skogar school. The house boasts of eight spacious bedrooms which all are double bedrooms. Outside there is a big wooden terrace with a large hot tub and an outdoor shower.
There are many interesting places to visit and trips to be taken in the surrounding area which we are happy to arrange for our guests. There is a museum, an extensive hiking area to explore, horseback riding and snowmobiling on Myrdalsjökull glacier.
Fantastic bird watching at nearby Dyrhólaey ocean cliffs.
